In this video I will show you a quick and easy adaption of the previous technique to ascend in your descender. It is called the Rapid Ascend Descent System or also known as “RADS”. This RADS system will enable you to make the ascend feel a lot lighter. And it is another tool in the tool bag that can be used later on when you need to ascend a bit with a casualty suspended from you. Sometimes you might need to do that for when an ASAP locks up on you 😜.
