Well, it happened. I put out a video that could and should have been better. This video show you how to do a changeover from ascend to descend the RIGHT way. And while I was at it I also added some tips to make changing over from descend to ascend easier or lighter. This stuff is also about technique and body positioning.

We are moving along nicely and starting to piece together the various techniques.
We learned how to climb up a rope using ascenders and descenders, we learned how to abseil down the rope with descenders and ascenders. Now it is time to combine the two and learn how to changeover from ascent to descend and how to changeover from descend to ascent.
